Culturally speaking how do you know when…?
A couple of years ago my friend decided to pull a prank on the senior class at his highschool as a way of getting even with some people. After he finished setting up the prank, he exited through the main building only to get seen by the local security guard so he started running away at full speed. After 30 seconds the guard got tired and stopped to catch his breathe since his diet consisted of doughnuts from the local convenience store but my friend kept on running nonstop. And he almost got away with it too…until suddenly the unthinkable happened as shown in this video

Can anyone give my friend some advice on when to stop running from the cops?
Actually, I’d recommend that he continue running. If he could outrun the security guards, the only thing he would need are glasses. And LOL @ the video.

The eye of the needle is not a needle like we think about it. The eye of the needle was the entrance into the city. A camel had to basically squat down to get through it. Thus, it was difficult for a camel, but not impossible. If the rich do not help the poor and do good works, then it will be hard for them to enter into the kingdom of God.

He said "kingdom of God", not "kingdom of heaven". I think it’s very very hard to rule and reign in the life by one christ Jesus if you are trusting in your money. God says aren’t the poor in this world RICH IN FAITH? They can do things Jesus’s way and through his power because he is all that they have.

It simply means that wealthy people will have a much more difficult time accepting Christ and entering into heaven than those who are not wealthy. The rich folk tend to cling to their money and worry about it and feel that it shall protect them from disease and death. It does none of those things. Are they going to be willing to give it all up to God if He requires it of them? Probably not, just as the young rich man in the Bible was not able to do so.

It’s called a parable. As some one correctly already explained the literal interpretation which is correct you need to know that your financial status has nothing to do with ones entrance into heaven. "Pride goes before the fall". "Blessed are the poor in spirit". Those are two concepts that are replete in scripture. The point of the parable in Matthew 19 is to show that Christianity (which is the ONLY way to heaven - true Christianity to be precise) is all about what God does. The person comes bare/naked, meaning that we offer nothing to salvation. Jesus did it all. Our "choice" is merely a response to what God has done and His calling. The majority of "rich" people don’t have God first in their lives. When you are saved, God is first in your life. The person who is spiritually rich doesn’t need God because they feel like they can do it all on their own. God must remove the heart of stone….

That is easy; Jesus is talking about people with great possession. Because when you have a lot of stuff be it money or just material objects you must take care of the stuff you have and be concerned about taking care of it, keeping track of it, making it work for you, making sure it does not get stolen or lost.
All that time that is spent thinking about and being concerned about your stuff is time that should have been devoted to God and His word of caring for and helping others instead of stuff.

18 weeks pregnant and i feel sad and alone i don't know why.?
Im 21 years old and with my boyfriend of 4 years. My family lives far and i only see them once a year. I don’t have much Friends i talk to anymore and i just feel very alone. I am with my boyfriend ever day and we live together. We are both very happy about baby and are very excited. We did plan this and it took about a year and a half to get pregnant. Now that i am, i cant help but feel alone, i honestly don’t know why and don’t know what to do. I cry alot of nights. He is there for me every second of everyday, and lately i have been feeling so much more needy i cant seem to be with him enough. i know i cant make him sit and hold me literally EVERY second of the day but most days i feel like that is what i need. At night i sometimes have trouble sleeping and he just falls asleep i get mad that he is sleeping and i can’t little things bother me so much. I cry for nothing i know that there are actual problems out there but i feel like im going crazy for nothing. He is amazing and he is there everyday for me, he dose things for me he tells me he loves me numerous times a day he tells me im beautiful and we don’t really argue that much, little fights here and there that aren’t even much of fights. He takes care of me and spends his time with me, but if hes doing his own thing and not on the couch or beside me suddenly i feel sad and alone again. I feel like a self-fish cry baby. I’m just so sick of feeling this way everyday at some point in the day. I really don’t know why i do feel like this.

everyone has heard of post pardum depression… but there is also such a thing as prepardum depression too. talk to your doctor - it’s so important to your emotional well being during pregnancy. i hate to say drugs are an easy fix, but if it can be benifitial to you, you and your doctor can find something that is safe during pregnancy. also join a site like pregnancyweekly.com. they have a forum for moms expecting during the same month. it can be addictive but these strangers can become like family because you have so much in common.

Advice for exercise riding try out?
Okay.
I do exercise riding around the area, mostly english. Mostly on horses with behavioral issues or weight control. I am being offered a new realm of opportunities now. A woman offered her 3 year old filly for me to ride, the filly "Blondie" will need 3 days of riding per week, but thus far has only had 3 rides on her. She is solely western, which is okay, since I have been riding for the last few years in more western then english, but right now I have a slight pulled muscle in my shoulder and have rode nothing but bareback for about 2 months (saddle fitting issues)
This riding will be my first time back in the saddle. I am a little nervous just because of my sore shoulder and because I haven’t been in the saddle for quite some time. I am not however weary of the horse, I often find that these young horses haven’t picked up any bad habits yet. But am curious for what I should expect out of her since its not common to have that age and training level in my riding schedule.
So summary:
looking for advice on:
1. getting back into the saddle and actually looking good after 2 months of strickly bareback riding.
2. What to expect out of a 3 year old with only 3 rides on her.
3. A bit about what western people would like to see other western people ride like (mind you, I am english, we do things a bit different)

Straws Mighty Blonde is a 2007 Straws Mighty Magnum daughter, She is already a money winner with a second place in the MVApHC open futurity. and is eligible for other ones, as well as breeders trust with the appaloosa horse club. Blondie is a gold Champagne just like her daddy. we will have her for sale and will show her next year if she is still here. This filly is one to have in your barn, a steal at $3500.
Owner needs rider because she recently had surgery, and needs an exercise rider because her current one went back to college (about 3 hours away)
I have rough experience with young horses, which primarily include riding green broke horses out on their first trail rides for about 6 months. So if there is something with arena work I should know, please I rather know now with the chance of looking less experienced then going out there and being put in danger. So please elaborate on "the drill" just to make sure I am in the same boat as you.
That’s a green horse, be careful, when was she ridden last?
If its been a while you may have a challenge on you hands..when a horse is started and only 3 rides in its not the greatest idea in the world to be changing up riders like that, she may be a little skittish about even having a rider on her back.
You may need to do a little ground work with her before you jump up, did the lady say why she needs a new rider at this point in the filly’s training?
If you have experience with starting young ones you will know the drill, if not, she will be totally awkward, not understanding aids (because she doesn’t know better) and she may not even move forward when you first ask her to walk. She is not used to leg aids so don’t expect much.
If she gets panicky she will do one of two things, she will either bolt or she will begin rearing and bucking to get you off.
You must be calm, dont confuse her (that creates panic) and have an assistant handy to lead her around until she is okay with you up there.
To be honest, this horse should be sent to a trainer with this level of training, she needs to become used to aids and how to respond correctly before sending her off to get exercise.
This sounds really weird that someone is asking an rider to exercise a horse that is barely broke….is she cheaping out on paying for a trainer?

She’s very pwetty :). I think that, at this point in her training, you just need to take it slow. For her and for you and your shoulder. Don’t be nervous about the saddle, I only ride my filly (Also a 3 year old) bareback because I can’t find a saddle to fit her, but the saddle, assuming it doesnt hurt you, should just give you a little extra security. When riding a green horse, reward them as much as you can. Its a whole new experiance for her and so you should appreciate it when she is being good, otherwise she may start to behave badly if you never tell her when she is doing things right… Just a few bits of information! You didn’t say what she was a money winner of?? Halter or Pleasure? If she has won money in Pleasure you should be able to right ahead with her, she should be pretty well trained. Just keep her up on what she already knows. I really like to fine up the diaognal training on a horse so you can move toward and away from the rail without picking up the reins, just moving her with leg pressure
Keep or make the transitions smooth and even with no bobbing of the head or any drag steps between.
If she doesn’t take correct leads on cue get that down pat, so the ask is just a pick up of reins and cue with leg.
Never ride her out the gate!! work her lightly and always stop at the far end or somewhere else in the arena to rest her and lead hre out so she won’t start leaking toward the gate..
